The starting point of this unusual necklace by Patricia Urquiola with its red leather cord ending in two “singing” pompoms (the silver balls jingle as they move), is a childhood memory of the Basque. The silver pompoms are a recollection of the ones that fastened the thick wool pullovers hand-knitted by grandmothers. Her piece of jewelry has been inspired by affection, that sentiment which leads you to identify with a piece of jewelry, never being separated from it, at least not until a new love arrives on the scene.
